H1 is a theme for heating and cooling contractors, set like a thermostat: Barlow Condensed capitals for the headings and readouts, over Barlow. It turns with the season. Summer is drawn in warm reds and orange with cooling first, Winter in navy and blue with heating first, and Mild covers the months between in either palette; which months are which is set in the admin, or one season is picked by hand. Each season has its own hero photo, headline and problems to pick from, and the page cache clears as the season turns. The homepage opens on a full-bleed photo with a booking bar laid over its foot — the problem, the ZIP and a mobile number, beside the next opening — and the Book page asks only for a day and a two-hour arrival window before reading the visit back. Eight page templates — home, service groups, services, maintenance plans, financing, about, contact and book — plus town pages with recent jobs, and the blog. Services are filed under Cooling and Heating, so the address, the breadcrumb and the nav follow the page tree, and each service page carries the signs it is time to call, how a visit works and starting prices. The plans page switches its prices between monthly and yearly, and the financing page works out a monthly payment as the cost and term are picked.
