Privacy Policy
AWG Network builds and hosts websites for small businesses. This policy explains what we collect when you use this site, and what happens to information submitted through the sites we host for our clients.
What we collect
When you fill in a form on this site we collect the details you enter: your name, business name, email address, phone number, current website and anything you write in the comments field. If you become a client we also hold billing contact details and the material you send us for your site.
When you simply browse, our servers record standard request logs: IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and the pages you viewed.
How we use it
We use what you send us to reply to your enquiry, quote the work, build and support your site, and send invoices. We use request logs to keep the platform running, diagnose faults and block abuse. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your enquiry to add you to a marketing list unless you ask for one.
Forms on client sites
Sites we host carry contact and request forms. Submissions are delivered to the business that owns the site, and that business decides how the information is used. We process those submissions on their behalf: we store them long enough to deliver them reliably, and we do not use them for our own purposes.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses a small number of cookies: one to keep your session working and, where enabled, analytics cookies that tell us which pages get read and where visitors come from. Analytics data is aggregated. You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser; the site still works without them.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for two years. Client records and invoices are kept for as long as the account is active and then for the period our tax and accounting obligations require. Request logs are kept for ninety days.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to privacy@awg.co and we will respond within thirty days.
Security
Sites we host are served over TLS, backed up daily and patched as updates are released. Access to client data is limited to the people who need it to do the work. No system is perfect; if a breach affects your information we will tell you and the relevant authority as required.
Children
Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under thirteen. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We update this policy when our practices or the law change. The effective date at the top of the page tells you which version you are reading, and material changes are announced on this page before they take effect.
